This summer, the Movies Garden – Cinema & More transforms into an outdoor movie theater, a „hall” for intimate concerts with some of the most well-known performers, a stand-up comedy club, and a summer theater. Please note that the Romanian movies are subtitled in English, so tourists can also enjoy Romanian film evenings. In a bohemian atmosphere, the Movies Garden event will host two more events: Romanian Film Evening, with debates from the world of local cinema and European Film Evening, which brings to the fore unique cultural and cinematographic perspectives, in partnership with cultural institutes and embassies in Romania.Īlong with the film critic Ileana Birsan, who will host a Q&A session with renowned producers, directors, actors, and other key players from the Romanian film industry following each screening, the general public is also encouraged to learn more about Romanian cinema in 2022.
